Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER LOWER PROTECTOR
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for High Temperature)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECM COVER
- REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE WARNING:
- Hot fluids.
Risk of scalding!
- Conduct all work in the vehicle wearing appropriate personal protective equipment only.
NOTE:Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.
- Unlock radiator hose sub-assembly (1) and pull off.
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Unlock No. 2 radiator hose (1) and pull off.
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Unlock the No. 2 radiator hose (1) below the intake plenum and detach it from the water valve.
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Guide the No. 2 radiator hose (1) out and remove.
- Hot fluids.
