Removal [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER 
    1. Detach the claws (2) and guides (3) to remove the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover (1) in the direction of the arrow.

      Remove in this Direction
  2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Carry out the work at temperatures between 18 °C and 23 °C only.

    1. Remove the inner rear view mirror assembly (1) from the mirror base (2) in the direction of the arrow.

      Remove in this Direction
      NOTE:
      • Damage to the component.

        Excessive force may damage the component.

        • Handle component carefully.
    2. Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
