  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2023] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2023 - 11/2024] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2024 - ]

      Body Electrical > Driver Seat > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2023] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2023 - 11/2024] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2024 - ]

      Body Electrical > Driver Seat > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2650 is not output.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SEAT SLIDE OPERATION) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > Driver Seat > Active Test

  4. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (SLIDE MOTOR CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly LH) connector.

      *a Rear view of wire harness connector
      (to Slide Motor [Front Seat Adjuster Assembly LH])
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      T1-2 - T1-3 Slide switch on 4.8 to 5.1 V

    REPLACE SLIDE MOTOR (FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH)

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - SLIDE MOTOR [FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH]) 
    1. Disconnect the T8 position control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the T1 slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly LH) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T8-26 (SSRS) - T1-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      T8-26 (SSRS) or T1-2 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T8-12 (SGND) - T1-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      T8-12 (SGND) or T1-3 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

  6. INSPECT SLIDE MOTOR (FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Remove the slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly LH).

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [11/2018 - 12/2021] , or refer to DISASSEMBLY [12/2021 - ]

    2. Inspect the slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly LH).

      Refer to INSPECTION [11/2018 - 12/2021] , or refer to INSPECTION [12/2021 - ]

    REPLACE SLIDE MOTOR (FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH)

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - SLIDE MOTOR [FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH]) 
    1. Disconnect the T7 position control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the T1 slide motor (front seat adjuster assembly LH) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T7-1 (SLD+) - T1-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      T7-1 (SLD+) or T1-4 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T7-5 (SLD-) - T1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      T7-5 (SLD-) or T1-1 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
