- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CONTROL THE ENGINE COOLING FAN DUTY RATIO)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test.
- Check the operation by referring to the table below.
Powertrain > Engine > Active Test

- CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE
- Install a manifold gauge set.
- for HFC-134a (R134a): Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [11/2018 - 08/2020]
- for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf): Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [02/2019 - ]
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
- Read the manifold gauge pressure when the following conditions are met.
- Prepare the vehicle according to the table below.MEASUREMENT CONDITION:

- CHECK FOR DTC
- Set the vehicle condition when the DTCs are output.
- Clear the DTCs.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
- Check for DTCs.

Result
Proceed to OK NG NOTE:If the engine keeps idling when the ambient temperature is high, the compressor with motor assembly may automatically stop to protect the inverter circuit, and DTC B1475 may be stored.
