  2. CHECK CUSTOMIZE SETTING 
    1. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Wireless Door Lock

      Hazard Answer Back When the doors are locked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash once.
      When the doors are unlocked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash twice.

    1. Check the wireless door lock control function using the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly.

    1. Check the wireless answer-back operation using the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly.

  6. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (Wireless Buzzer) 
    1. Perform Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

  7. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the A18 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
    2. Perform the Active Test using the Techstream and sound the wireless door lock buzzer.

    3. While performing the Active Test, measure the voltage between the terminals of the wireless door lock buzzer.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

    2. Disconnect the A18 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
    3. Reconnect the 4F instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A18-1 (B) - A-21 (BZR) Always Below 1 Ω
      A18-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A18-1 (B) or A-21 (BZR) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the 4F instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the A18 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A18-1 (B) - 4F-29 Always Below 1 Ω
      A18-1 (B) or 4F-29 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

  10. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS OPERATION 
    1. Check that the hazard warning lights blink when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.

  11. CHECK CUSTOMIZE SETTING (Wireless Buzzer Response Function, Hazard Answer Back Function, Wireless Buzzer Volume Setting) 
    1. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

    2. Perform the Active Test using the GTS and sound the wireless door lock buzzer.

    2. Disconnect the A18 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
    3. Reconnect the 4F instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
