DTC P0571-13: Brake Switch "A" Circuit Open [12/2021 - ]: Description

When the brakes are applied by the dynamic radar cruise control system, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) operates the stop light control relay (stop light switch assembly) to illuminate the stop lights.
If the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly receives a signal from the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) indicating a malfunction of the stop light control relay, DTC P0571-13 is stored.
