Removal [12/2021 - 10/2022]: Procedure

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to REPLACEMENT [12/2021 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26
- REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)
See step 3
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (w/ Grille Shutter)
See step 4
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ Grille Shutter)
- Disconnect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

- Remove the clip and No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.

NOTE:
If the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - 10/2022]
- REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

- Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.
NOTE:
If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
