Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 2 frame wire from the battery state sensor assembly.

      NOTE:

      When disconnecting the engine wire, some systems need to be initialized after the engine wire is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]

    2. Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery.

    3. Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.

    4. Detach the clamp and disconnect the engine wire from the battery state sensor assembly.
    5. Detach the 2 claws to remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder.
