DTC B27A8: Open in Outside Luggage Compartment Electrical Key Antenna Circuit [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

1. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and electrical key antenna (outside luggage compartment).

   OK

   Connectors are properly connected.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the M7 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the Q15 electrical key antenna (outside luggage compartment) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M7-13 (CLG8) - Q15-2 (ANTE8)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M7-12 (CG8B) - Q15-1 (CLGB)	Always	Below 1 Ω

4. Reconnect the M7 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.
