Removal [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. SECURE VEHICLE 
    1. Fully apply the parking brake and chock a wheel.
      WARNING:
      • Make sure to apply the parking brake and chock a wheel before performing this procedure.
      • If the vehicle is not secure and the shift lever is moved to N, the vehicle may suddenly move, possibly resulting in an accident or serious injury.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [10/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2023 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2023 - ]

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2023 - ]

  9. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - ]

  10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 12/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  13. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the shift lever to N.
    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

    3. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly with the clip from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    4. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the inverter with converter assembly.

    6. Remove the 2 nuts and then remove the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.

    7. Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.
