High Beam Headlight Circuit [11/2024 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note High Beam Headlight High beam headlights OFF or ON - Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
Tester Display High Beam Headlight OK
High beam headlights illuminate.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DIM RELAY - HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH)
- Remove the DIM relay.
- Disconnect the A62 headlight assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the A61 headlight assembly RH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (DIM relay) - A62-4 (HI) Always Below 1 Ω 3 (DIM relay) or A62-4 (HI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher 3 (DIM relay) or A61-4 (HI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- Disconnect the G44 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- *1: Turn Light for LED Type
- *2: Turn Light for Bulb Type
- Remove the DIM relay.
- Disconnect the A98*1 or A99*2 headlight assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the A96*1 or A97*2 headlight assembly RH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
