Removal [02/2019 - 10/2019]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (for HV Model, w/ Hands Free Power Back Door)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for HV Model, w/ Hands Free Power Back Door)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER (for HV Model, w/ Hands Free Power Back Door)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Hands Free Power Back Door)
1. for A25A-FXS:
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
2. for A25A-FKS:
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  
  NOTE:
  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019]

REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR WARNING BUZZER

Detach the clamp and remove the power back door warning buzzer.

Disconnect the connector.
NOTE:
Do not subject the power back door warning buzzer to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.
