Removal [11/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [02/2019 - 08/2020]

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [10/2019 - 08/2020]

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 
    1. Apply protective tape around the instrument side panel RH as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape
    2. Using the moulding remover B, detach the clip.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the instrument side panel RH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2019 - 08/2020]

  6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [10/2019 - 08/2020]

  7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [10/2019 - 08/2020]

  8. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL BATTERY 
    1. Remove the nut and guide to disconnect the door control battery as shown in the illustration.

    2. Position the connector of the door control battery facing the outside of the vehicle and disconnect it as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Take care not to scratch the instrument panel reinforcement with your hands.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Remove the door control battery to the instrument panel reinforcement assembly as shown in the illustration.
