Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2023 - ]

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2023 - ]

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

   Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2023 - ]

   • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
   • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

1. Remove the bolt.

2. Detach the guide and remove the vehicle approaching speaker controller.
   NOTE:

   • When removing the vehicle approaching speaker controller, take care not to damage it.
   • Do not reuse a vehicle approaching speaker controller that has been dropped or subjected to a strong shock.
