Terminals Of Ecu [11/2018 - ]

  1. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the T7 and T8 position control ECU assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      T7-2 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      T7-3 (+B) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      T8-1 (IG) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T8-15 (SYSB) - Body ground G - Body ground System power source Power switch off 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the T7 and T8 position control ECU assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      T7-1 (SLD+) - Body ground L - Body ground Slide motor signal (forward) Slide switch off Below 1 V
      Slide switch on (Forward) 11 to 14 V

      Slide switch on (Rearward) 11 to 14 V
      T7-6 (LFT+) - Body ground V - Body ground Rear lifter motor signal (upward) Rear lifter switch off Below 1 V
      Rear lifter switch on (Upward) 11 to 14 V
      T7-7 (FRV+) - Body ground B - Body ground Front vertical motor signal (upward) Front vertical switch off Below 1 V
      Front vertical switch on (Upward) 11 to 14 V
      T7-9 (L+) - Body ground V - Body ground Lumbar support adjuster motor signal (forward) Lumbar support adjuster switch off Below 1 V
      Lumbar support adjuster switch on (Forward) 11 to 14 V
      T7-10 (RCL+) - Body ground P - Body ground Reclining motor signal (forward) Reclining switch off Below 1 V
      Reclining switch on (Forward) 11 to 14 V
      T6-3 (L-) - Body ground L - Body ground Lumbar support adjuster motor signal (rearward) Lumbar support adjuster switch off Below 1 V
      Lumbar support adjuster switch on (Rearward) 11 to 14 V
      T6-4 (FRV-) - Body ground R - Body ground Front vertical motor signal (downward) Front vertical switch off Below 1 V

      T6-5 (LFT-) - Body ground G - Body ground Lifter motor signal (downward) Rear lifter switch off Below 1 V

      T8-21 (LFTD) - Body ground LG - Body ground Rear lifter switch (downward) signal Rear lifter switch off 11 to 14 V

    5. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

    2. Connect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground None - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      A-31 (BECU) - Body ground None - Body ground Battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      A-30 (ACC) - Body ground None - Body ground ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground None - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [08/2020 - ]

    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G44-1 (FLCY) - Body ground R - Body ground Front door courtesy light switch assembly LH input Front door (driver door) open Below 1 V
      Front door (driver door) closed 4.7 to 5.3 V

      SET switch off 11 to 14 V
      G43-9 (M2) - Body ground R - Body ground M2 switch signal for seat memory switch M2 switch on Below 1 V
      M2 switch off 11 to 14 V
      G43-10 (M1) - Body ground GR - Body ground M1 switch signal for seat memory switch M1 switch on Below 1 V
      M1 switch off 11 to 14 V
