ECU Power Source Circuit [06/2020 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY (IGCT VOLTAGE) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Remove the No. 1 HV battery hose.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [06/2020 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2023 - ]
- Disconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.NOTE:
Before disconnecting the connector, check that it is not loose or disconnected.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z26-13 (IGCT) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Battery ECU Assembly) - Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Reconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Install the No. 1 HV battery hose.

- Disconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.NOTE:
Before disconnecting the connector, check that it is not loose or disconnected.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z26-27 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω z26-3 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω z26-4 (ERTH) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Battery ECU Assembly) - Reconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Install the No. 1 HV battery hose.

- Remove the IGCT NO. 2 fuse from the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.
*1 No. 3 Relay Block and Junction Block Assembly *2 IGCT NO. 2 Fuse - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition IGCT NO. 2 fuse Always Below 1 Ω - Install the IGCT NO. 2 fuse to the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z26-13 (IGCT) - 2 (IGCT NO. 2 fuse terminal) Always Below 1 Ω - Install the IGCT NO. 2 fuse to the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.
- Reconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Install the No. 1 HV battery hose.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z26-13 (IGCT) or 2 (IGCT-NO. 2 fuse terminal) - Body ground and other terminals Always Below 1 Ω - Install the IGCT NO. 2 fuse to the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.
- Reconnect the z26 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Install the No. 1 HV battery hose.
