Front Passenger Side Seat Belt Warning Light Malfunction [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

   Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Clear DTCs 

2. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

   Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Trouble Codes

   DTCs are output	B

GO TO OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [02/2019 - ]

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

2. Check for DTCs.

GO TO AIRBAG SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2020 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

for Manual Seat:

Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

REPLACE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]
