Removal [08/2021 -]: Procedure

- ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 -]
- REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect each connector from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly and steering wheel assembly.
- Using a 10 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the steering wheel assembly set bolt.
- Put matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.
*a Matchmark - Temporarily install the steering wheel assembly set bolt.NOTE:
Do not overtighten the steering wheel assembly set bolt.
- Using SST, separate the steering wheel assembly.

- 09954-05031
- 09957-04010
- SST: 09950-60010
- 09951-00330
NOTE:Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and tip of SST (09953-05020) before use.

- Remove the steering wheel assembly set bolt and steering wheel assembly.
- REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/ Shift Paddle Switch)
for Gasoline Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

- REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH WIRE (w/ Shift Paddle Switch)
for Gasoline Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
