- INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F12-8 (RV) - F12-6 (E) Light control rheostat up switch pressed Below 1 Ω F12-8 (RV) - F12-6 (E) Light control rheostat up switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher F12-8 (RV) - F12-6 (E) Light control rheostat down switch pressed 1.71 to 1.89 kΩ F12-8 (RV) - F12-6 (E) Light control rheostat down switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the light control rheostat switch (combination switch assembly).
- Illumination Inspection
*a Component without harness connected
(Light Control Rheostat Switch (Combination Switch Assembly))- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the light control rheostat switch (combination switch assembly) and check that it illuminates.

Click Connector (F12)
Tester Connection Specified Condition F12-10 (ILL+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)
F12-1 (ILL-) - Auxiliary battery positive (-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the light control rheostat switch (combination switch assembly).
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the light control rheostat switch (combination switch assembly) and check that it illuminates.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
