Installation [06/2015 - 11/2018]: Procedure

INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

Connect the 2 airbag connectors of the No. 2 instrument panel wire to the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly.

NOTE:

When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

*1	Locking Button

Push in the locking button to install the airbag connectors to the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly.
NOTE:
Securely lock the locking button.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

NOTE:

If the hooks are disengaged in the wrong order, there is a possibility of damaging the deployment portion of the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly.

Engage the vehicle rearward side hooks of the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly to the vehicle rear side of the airbag door.

Push in the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly, and engage the vehicle front side hooks to the vehicle front side wall of the airbag door.

Install the 2 screws.

Engage the clamps to connect the wire harness.

INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2015 - 01/2018] , or refer to INSTALLATION [01/2018 - ]
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
INSTALL LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2015 - ]
FC STACK ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [06/2015 - ]

HINT:

Perform an on-vehicle inspection of the FC stack assembly only if the vehicle has been subjected to a strong impact.
