- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16
- REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME FRONT MOULDING
- Using an infrared light, heat the rear door window frame front moulding.HEATING TEMPERATURE
Item Temperature Door Frame 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Rear Door Window Frame Front Moulding 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) - Using a moulding remover D, disengage the clip and guide to remove the rear door window frame front moulding as shown in the illustration.
*a Double-sided Tape *b Caulking Sponge with Butyl Layer Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2)
- Using an infrared light, heat the rear door window frame front moulding.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME UPPER MOULDING
- Insert a 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit into a drill.
*a 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) - - - Tape the 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) from the tip as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Tape the 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit to prevent the drill bit from going too deep.
- Lightly press the drill against the rivets to drill off the rivet flanges, and remove the 4 rivets.NOTE:
- Pressing the drill too firmly will cause the rivet to turn and result in the rivet not being drilled through.
- Prying the rivets with the drill may damage the rivet installation holes or drill bit.
- Be careful of the drilled rivets, as they may be hot.
- Remove the front end cover, rear end cover and rear door window frame upper moulding.
- Insert a 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit into a drill.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME REAR MOULDING
- Insert a 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit into a drill.
*a 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) - - - Tape the 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) from the tip as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Tape the 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit to prevent the drill bit from going too deep.

- Remove the upper end cover and rear door window frame rear moulding.
- Insert a 4.0 mm (0.157 in.) drill bit into a drill.
