Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly, rear light assembly LH, rear light assembly RH and luggage compartment door outside garnish.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Remove the 9 nuts and 4 bolts.
    4. Disengage the clips as shown in the illustration to remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly together with the rear light assembly LH, rear light assembly and luggage compartment door outside garnish as a single unit.

      Place Hands Here
      Remove in this Direction
      NOTE:

      To prevent damage to the individual components, the luggage compartment door garnish sub-assembly outside, rear light assembly LH, rear light assembly RH and luggage compartment door garnish outside should be removed from the vehicle as a single unit.

    5. Disengage the claws to remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

      Disengage the claws to remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish.
