Inspection [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for LH Side)
- Check the seat heater switch
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Seat Heater Switch (for LH Side))Standard Resistance (for LO Side)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (IG) - 1 (LO) Lo switch on Below 1 Ω 2 (IG) - 1 (LO) Lo switch off 10 kΩ or higher Standard Resistance (for HI Side)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (IG) - 3 (HI) Hi switch on Below 1 Ω 2 (IG) - 3 (HI) Hi switch off 10 kΩ or higher If the specified condition is not met, replace the seat heater switch (for LH Side).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the switch indicator.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch indicator come on.
OK (for LO Side)
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (IG)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)Lo switch on Illuminates OK (for HI Side)
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (IG)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)Hi switch on Illuminates If the specified condition is not met, replace the seat heater switch (for LH Side).
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch indicator come on.
- Check the switch illumination.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch illumination come on.
OK
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 5 (ILL-)Always Illuminates If the specified condition is not met, replace the seat heater switch (for LH Side).
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch illumination come on.
- Check the seat heater switch

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the switch indicator.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch indicator come on.
OK (for LO Side)
