DTC B1350: Speaker Circuit [06/2015 - ]: Description

The vehicle approaching speaker assembly circuit consists of the vehicle approaching speaker controller and vehicle approaching speaker assembly.

This DTC is stored when a malfunction is detected in the vehicle approaching speaker assembly circuit.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B1350 Speaker Circuit Either of the following conditions is met:
  • When sound output voltage is being monitored by the ECU, with the power switch on (IG), battery voltage 9 V or more, and warning sound being produced, a speaker circuit short condition continues for 1 second or more.
  • When sound output voltage is being monitored by the ECU, with the power switch on (IG) and warning sound not being produced, a speaker circuit open condition continues for 5 seconds or more.
  • Vehicle approaching speaker controller
  • Vehicle approaching speaker assembly
  • Harness or connector

HINT: 

DTC will be output when conditions for either of the patterns in the table above are met.
