DTC B15C0: GPS Antenna Connection Malfunction (short); DTC B15C1: GPS Antenna Connection Malfunction (break) [06/2015 - 01/2018]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - 01/2018]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2015 - 11/2018] 

Result: 

NG

1. Remove the navigation antenna assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018]

2. Inspect the navigation antenna assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [06/2015 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the navigation antenna assembly.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Navigation Antenna Assembly)
   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Navigation Receiver Assembly)

2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the instrument panel wire.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A-3 - 1 (GPS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-3a - 1a	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-3 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A-3a - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 01/2018]

REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 01/2018]
