NOTE:

When any of the following parts have been replaced, perform adjustment shown in the following table. If not, the intuitive parking assist system may not operate correctly.

ADJUST INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during parking support alert system removal/installation are shown below.

REGISTRATION OF BUMPER TYPE (PROCEDURE 1)

Preparation
1. Check for DTCs.
  Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]
  
  NOTE:
  If DTC C168D is output, continue with the registration procedure.
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A / Utility.
Select "Clearance Sonar ECU" and perform steering adjustment according to the display on the Techstream.

Enter the bumper type using the Techstream.

Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

REGISTRATION OF ULTRASONIC SENSORS (PROCEDURE 2)
1. Preparation
  1. Check for DTCs.
    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]
    
    NOTE:
    If DTC C1AF3 or C1AF4 is stored, continue with the registration procedure.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A / Utility.
6. Select "Fr Sensor or Bumper" or "Rr Sensor or Bumper" and perform automatic adjustment according to the display on the Techstream.
  HINT:
  
  It is not required to enter sensor angles. Perform the procedure according to the display on the Techstream.
7. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.
