Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

    1. Put protective tape around the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Protective Tape
    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 claws and 3 clips and remove the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.
  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUBASSEMBLY LH

    1. Put protective tape around the lower instrument panel pad subassembly LH.

    2. Remove the clip and screw.

      Detach the 11 claws and guide.

    4. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamps and remove the lower instrument panel pad subassembly LH.
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

    1. Put protective tape around the No. 1 instrument panel finish panel cushion.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 claws and 3 clips and remove the No. 1 instrument panel finish panel cushion.
  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUBASSEMBLY RH

    1. Put protective tape around the lower instrument panel pad subassembly RH.

    2. Remove the clip and screw.

      Detach the 11 claws and guide and remove the lower instrument panel pad subassembly RH.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Twist the shift lever knob subassembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.
  6. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Put protective tape around the lower center instrument cluster finish panel subassembly.

    2. Detach the 6 claws and remove the lower center instrument cluster finish panel subassembly.
  7. REMOVE CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Put protective tape around the console cup holder box subassembly.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the console cup holder box subassembly.
  8. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

    1. Put protective tape around the upper console panel.

      Detach the 8 claws and 5 clips.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the upper console panel.
  9. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Put protective tape around the rear upper console panel subassembly.

      Detach the 4 claws, clip and 3 guides and remove the rear upper console panel subassembly.

  10. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Put protective tape around the upper console panel subassembly.

      Detach the 8 claws and 4 clips and remove the upper console panel subassembly.

  11. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUBASSEMBLY

    1. Put protective tape around the rear console end panel subassembly.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 7 claws.
    3. Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps and remove the rear console end panel subassembly.
  12. REMOVE DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (w/ Telematics Transceiver) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [08/2017 - ]

  13. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUBASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.
    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear console box subassembly.
