DTC P2182-11: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit Short to Ground [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

- READ VALUE USING GTS (CHECK FOR SHORT IN WIRE HARNESS)
*1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (for Cylinder Head Side) *2 ECM - Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side) connector.
- According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

Tester Display Coolant Temperature Sensor2 OK
GTS Display Specified Condition Coolant Temperature Sensor2 -40°C (-40°F) HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side).
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2022 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (FOR CYLINDER HEAD SIDE) - ECM)
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side) connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
