Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL (ATF WARMER) COOLER 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ] 

  3. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE

      1. Remove the nut and separate the vacuum hose sub-assembly.
      2. Disengage the claw, rotate the lever and disconnect the transmission wire connector.
      3. Remove the bolt and separate the engine wire.
  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER BRACKET

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER UNION SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the bolt to separate the oil cooler union sub-assembly bracket portion from the automatic transaxle case sub-assembly.
      2. Remove the oil cooler union bolt, 2 gaskets and oil cooler union sub-assembly from the automatic transaxle case sub-assembly.
  6. REMOVE OUTLET NO. 1 OIL COOLER HOSE 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the outlet No. 1 oil cooler hose or oil cooler union sub-assembly are necessary.

  7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE SIDE COVER 

    HINT: 

    As the illustration shown is an example, the actual details may differ.

  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION WIRE (w/o Stop And Start System)

      1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the transmission wire from the solenoid lock plate.
      2. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the 7 solenoid valve connectors using the procedure shown in the illustration.
      3. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the solenoid valve connector using the procedure shown in the illustration.
      4. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector.

  9. REMOVE TRANSMISSION WIRE (w/ Stop And Start System)

      1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the transmission wire from the solenoid lock plate.
      2. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the 7 solenoid valve connectors using the procedure shown in the illustration.
      3. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the solenoid valve connector using the procedure shown in the illustration.
      4. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector.
