Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

- SECURE VEHICLE
- Fully apply the parking brake and chock a wheel.
- REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER
- REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [11/2023 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [11/2023 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX INSERT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [11/2023 - ]
- DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY NOTE:
Before disconnecting the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever is in N.
- Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.
- Rotate the lock nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the lock nut in that position, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

- Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.
- REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the transmission control switch connector.
*a Transmission Control Switch Connector *b Shift Lock Control ECU Connector - Disconnect the shift lock control ECU connector.
- Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the transmission floor shift assembly.
- Remove the 4 bolts and transmission floor shift assembly from the shift and select lever support.
- Disconnect the transmission control switch connector.
