DTC P0ABF-2A: Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor "A" Signal Stuck In Range [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Check and record any HV system DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      "Only DTC P0ABF-2A is output" or "DTC P0ABF-2A and DTCs other than those in the following table are output". A
      DTC P0ABF-2A and any of the DTCs in the following table are output at the same time. B

      P0A95-63 High Voltage Fuse Accumulated Load History
      P0ABF-11 Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor "A" Circuit Short to Ground
      P0ABF-15 Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor "A" Circuit Short to Auxiliary Battery or Open
      P0AFC-00 Hybrid/EV Battery Sensor Module
      P0AFC-96 Hybrid/EV Battery Sensor Module Component Internal Failure
      P1CBB-12 Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor Power Supply Circuit Short to Auxiliary Battery
      P1CBB-14 Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor Power Supply Circuit Short to Ground or Open
      P308A-12 Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage Sensor All Circuit Short to Auxiliary Battery
      P0B3B-14, P0B40-14, P0B45-14, P0B4A-14, P0B4F-14, P0B54-14, P0B59-14, P0B5E-14, P0B63-14, P0B68-14, P0B6D-14, P0B72-14, P0B77-14 Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage Sensor "A - M" Circuit Short to Ground or Open
    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM). Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2023 - ] 

    Result:

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      NOTE:

      Do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).

    2. Check the voltage of each HV battery block voltage of "Hybrid Battery Block 1 to 12 Voltage" in the Data List with the ignition switch ON.
      NOTE:

      Select "Hybrid Battery Block 1 to 12 Voltage" only. (Do not select any other Data List items.)

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Hybrid Battery Block 1 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 2 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 3 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 4 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 5 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 6 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 7 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 8 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 9 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 10 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 11 Voltage
      Hybrid Battery Block 12 Voltage

      Specified Condition

      Any "Hybrid Battery Block Voltage" changes by 0.3 V or more, 60 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON. (The difference between the maximum and minimum voltage is 0.3 V or more.)

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      The change in voltage of any "Hybrid Battery Block Voltage" is 0.3 V or more. A
      Other than above B
    3. Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    REPLACE BATTERY VOLTAGE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]
