DTC P0ABF-00: Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   One of the following applies: Only P0ABF-00 is output. One or more DTCs other than P0AFC-00 and P0AFC-96 are also output.	A
   P0AFC-00 or P0AFC-96 is also output.	B

2. Turn the ignition switch off.

GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM). Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2023 - ]

REPLACE HYBRID BATTERY THERMISTOR (WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

1. Read and record the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

2. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Clear DTCs 

3. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.

1. Drive the vehicle for approximately 10 minutes according to the Freeze Frame Data items "Vehicle Speed", "Accelerator Position", "Hybrid Battery Current", "Motor Torque" and "Generator Torque".
