Disassembly [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY CAP NOTE:
- Do not reuse the generator pulley cap.
- If the generator pulley cap is removed, replace the generator pulley cap and generator pulley with clutch with new ones as the correct grease amount cannot be confirmed.
HINT:
Although grease will be observed when the generator pulley cap is removed, this does not indicate a malfunction.
- REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH
*1 Generator Pulley with Clutch - - *a Rotor Shaft *b T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench *c Turn *d Hold - Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.NOTE:
Do not overtighten the vise.
- Fit SST to the generator pulley with clutch.
- SST: 09820-30010
- Fit a T50 "TORX" socket wrench into the rotor shaft end.
HINT:
Make sure that SST and the T50 "TORX" socket wrench are secured to the rotor shaft and generator pulley with clutch.
- Loosen the generator pulley with clutch by turning the T50 "TORX" socket wrench as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- Check that the generator assembly is secured in the vise tightly.
- Hold SST tightly during the operation.
- Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.
- Remove SST and the T50 "TORX" socket wrench from the generator pulley with clutch.
- Remove the generator pulley with clutch from the rotor shaft.
- Remove the generator assembly from the vise.
