Installation [10/2022 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY 

    Bolt 

    Torque: 46 N.m (469 kgf/cm, 34 ft.lbf) 

    Nut 

    Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FLYWHEEL HOUSING SIDE COVER

      1. Align the protrusion with the cylinder block sub-assembly and engage the claw as shown in the illustration to install the flywheel housing side cover.
        NOTE:
        • Make sure the claw makes a click sound, indicating that it fits tightly.
        • Replace the flywheel housing side cover with a new one if the claw does not fit tightly or is deformed.
  3. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE 
  4. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - ]

  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 52

  6. CONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 53

  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  8. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  11. ADD COOLANT (for Intercooler) 

    Refer to REPLACEMENT [10/2022 - ]

  12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to REPLACEMENT [10/2022 - ]
