DTC C1AE3-96: Ultrasonic Sensor (Front Right Center) Component Internal Failure [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. According to the display on the GTS, check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

2. According to the display on the GTS, clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   No DTC is output	A
   "C1AE3-96" is output	B
   "C1AE3-96" and "C1AE3-87" are output	C

Result:

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

1. Replace the front center ultrasonic sensor RH with a new or normally functioning one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

   HINT: 

   To check if the ultrasonic sensor is functioning correctly, replace it with another ultrasonic sensor.
