Power Source Circuit [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the H112 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H112-5 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V
      H112-6 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      H112-6 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IG POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the H112 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H112-6 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      H112-6 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10.5 to 16 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO STOP AND START SYSTEM. Refer to  Backup Boost Converter Circuit [11/2023 - ]

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (+B POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the H112 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H112-1 (EP) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      H112-2 (ES) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
