DTC P0500-31: Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" No Signal [03/2019 - 09/2022]: Procedure

HINT: 

This procedure confirms whether the speedometer is operating correctly.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Vehicle Speed.

   Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Vehicle Speed

5. Drive the vehicle.
6. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

   Result

1. Check the circuits that send vehicle speed signals to this system in the combination meter system.

   Refer to Speed Signal Circuit [01/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to Speed Signal Circuit [04/2020 - 09/2022]

1. Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Result
