Removal [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FAN WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ] 

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the radiator assembly.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the radiator assembly.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to separate the cooler condenser assembly from the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure not to damage the cooler condenser assembly when separating the cooler condenser assembly.

    3. Remove the radiator assembly from the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION 
    1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly.
  9. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly.
  10. REMOVE RADIATOR DRAIN COCK PLUG 
    1. Remove the radiator drain cock plug.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the radiator drain cock plug.
