Removal [09/2019 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2019 - 06/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [06/2021 - 09/2022]

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2019 - 06/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [06/2021 - 09/2022]

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Fully Sealed Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Non-Fully Sealed Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. DRAIN CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE FLUID 

    See step  3

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Disengage the hose clamp to disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the transmission oil cooler.
  7. DISCONNECT INLET WATER HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the inlet water hose from the transmission oil cooler.

  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and transmission oil cooler from the transaxle housing.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the transaxle housing.
