WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH OUTPUT VOLTAGE)

    HINT:

Make sure that the connector is properly connected. If it is not, securely connect it and check for DTCs again.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Neutral Position Switch Output Voltage.

Powertrain > Engine > Data List

      Tester Display
      Neutral Position Switch Output Voltage
    5. Record the Neutral Position Switch Output Voltage value.
    6. Turn the ignition switch off.
    7. Turn the Techstream off.
    8. Disconnect the neutral position switch connector.
    9. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    10. Turn the Techstream on.
    11. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Neutral Position Switch Output Voltage.

Powertrain > Engine > Data List

      Tester Display
      Neutral Position Switch Output Voltage
    12. Compare the Data List value when the connector is connected and when the connector is not connected.
