DTC P0627-12: Fuel Pump "A" Control Circuit Short to Battery [09/2022 - 11/2022]: Procedure

- INSPECT ECM (CHECK FOR SHORT)
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Fuel Pump Control ECU)*1 for TMMMS Made *2 for TMC Made - Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage (for TMMMS Made)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O66-2 (FPC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V Standard Voltage (for TMC Made)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O172-2 (FPC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPLACE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU
- for Hatchback: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]
- for Sedan: Refer to REMOVAL [04/2020 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU - ECM)
- Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (for TMMMS Made)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O66-2 (FPC) or A47-6 (FPC) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Standard Resistance (for TMC Made)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O172-2 (FPC) or A47-6 (FPC) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
