NOTE:
- When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
- When replacing the combination meter assembly, update the ECU security key.

- Before preforming this procedure, check for Meter / Gauge System DTC B1500-13 or B1501-13 which is stored if an open or short in the circuit is detected. If DTC B1500-13 or B1501-13 is output, perform troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.

- After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
