Removal [01/2019 - 11/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (w/ Cover)

      Bolt
      Clip

      Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips and disengage the 6 clamps to remove the front floor cover LH from the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover) 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the front floor cover LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE 
    1. Remove the 8 bolts and 2 front floor center braces from the vehicle body.

  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst).

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst).
  6. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold.

    2. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the exhaust pipe gasket from the exhaust manifold.
