Radio Receiver Power Source Circuit [04/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the G3 and G2 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G3-1 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G3-4 (+B1) - G3-1 (GND1) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      G3-15 (ACC1) - G3-1 (GND1) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      G2-19 (IG) - G3-1 (GND1) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2020 - ]
