1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *a	Component with harness connected (Stereo Component Amplifier Assembly)

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G8-1 (MUTE) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC), audio system playing → Changing modes	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2020 - ]

1. Disconnect the G3 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G8 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G3-25 (MUT1) - G8-1 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G3-25 (MUT1) or G8-1 (MUTE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Reconnect the G8 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
