- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (OUTPUT VOLTAGE)
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Vehicle Approaching Speaker Controller)- Disconnect the G38 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (WARNING MESSAGE)
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Vehicle Approaching Speaker Controller)- Turn the power switch off.
- Connect SST to terminal G38-10 (IND) and body ground.
- SST: 09843-18040
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Check the combination meter assembly display.

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the G16 combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G38-10 (IND) - G16-8 (IND) Always Below 1 Ω G38-10 (IND) or G16-8 (IND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
