Hybrid System Indicator Malfunction [04/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure

1. Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [04/2018 - 08/2020]

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [04/2018 - ]

1. Check if hybrid control system DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [04/2018 - 08/2020]

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes

GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [04/2018 - 08/2020]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List 

   Tester Display	Measurement Item	Range	Normal Condition	Diagnostic Note
   HV System Indicator	Hybrid system indicator value	Min.: -101%, Max.: 511% or Unset	Current hybrid system indicator value	"Unset" is displayed when the vehicle is stopped and the power switch is on (READY).

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List 

   Tester Display
   HV System Indicator

   OK

   Hybrid system indicator value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as the hybrid system indicator indication.

   Result

   NG

REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021]

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]
