Removal [04/2018 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [04/2018 - 08/2021]
, or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [08/2021 - ]
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Intake Side)
- Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
NOTE:
If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Exhaust Side)
- Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.
- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

NOTE:
If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
