DTC P107A-11: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (Low) Circuit Short to Ground [08/2019 -]: Procedure

HINT: 

Make sure that the connector is properly connected. If it is not, securely connect it and check for DTCs again.

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor (for low pressure side) connector.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D5-1 (VC) - D5-3 (E2)	Power switch on (IG)	4.75 to 5.25 V
   D5-2 (PFL) - D5-3 (E2)	Power switch on (IG)	4.4 to 5.6 V

4. Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D5-1 (VC) - D5-2 (PFL)	Power switch off	171 to 189 kΩ

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pressure sensor (for low pressure side).

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 -]

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR (FOR LOW PRESSURE SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 -] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor (for low pressure side) connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D5-1 (VC) - C55-84 (VCPF)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D5-2 (PFL) or C55-107 (PFL) - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 -]
