DTC P0627-12: Fuel Pump "A" Control Circuit Short to Battery [04/2018 -]: Procedure

- INSPECT ECM (CHECK FOR SHORT)
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Fuel Pump Control ECU)- Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K15-2 (FPC) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) Below 1 V Result
Proceed to OK NG

OK
REPLACE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 -]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU - ECM)
- Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K15-2 (FPC) or A19-6 (FPC) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
Proceed to OK NG
